Shipping Policy - Jason Pet Food

This Shipping Policy applies to all wholesale, OEM, ODM and sample orders of pet food products. All shipping arrangements shall be confirmed formally in sales contracts or proforma invoices between both parties.

1. Production Lead Time Before Shipment

Standard bulk orders: 15–20 working days after deposit confirmation.

Custom formula & private label orders: 22–28 working days.

Lead time excludes weekends, Chinese public holidays and force majeure delays.

2. Available Shipping Methods

We offer multiple logistics solutions based on order volume and timeline:

International Express (DHL / FedEx / UPS): Suitable for pet food samples, transit 3–7 working days.
Air Freight: Medium bulk orders, fast delivery for urgent stock replenishment.
Sea Freight (FCL / LCL): Economical for large wholesale orders, transit time depends on destination port.
Railway transport: Available for selected European markets.

Buyers may also appoint their own freight forwarder to arrange pickup from our factory.

3. Accepted Trade Terms (INCOTERMS 2020)

We support EXW, FOB, CIF, CFR and DDP (DDP service available for selected countries only).

All shipping costs, insurance, import duty, customs clearance liability shall follow the agreed Incoterms clearly stated on PI.

Under FOB: Buyer arranges ocean freight, destination customs and local delivery.
Under DDP: We coordinate door-to-door shipment; import tax and clearance fees will be quoted separately in advance.

4. Samples Shipment

Free product samples can be provided. The buyer shall bear all international express freight.

Sample shipment cost can be deducted from your first formal bulk order upon mutual agreement.

5. Packaging & Cargo Protection

All pet food will be packed with standard export cartons, moisture-proof packaging as default.

Special packaging requirements (palletization, custom printed outer boxes) must be notified before production and may generate extra charges.

We strictly follow food safety packaging standards for dry pet food, freeze-dried snacks and canned food.

6. Customs & Import Responsibility

The buyer is fully responsible for confirming local import regulations, quarantine standards, pet food import permits and tariff requirements of the destination country before placing orders.

We provide standard export documents: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, health certificate as required. We cannot guarantee customs clearance in buyer’s country. Customs detention caused by incomplete buyer import qualifications shall be borne by the buyer.

7. Transit Time & Delay Disclaimer

All transit times are estimated and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to port congestion, customs inspection, bad weather, carrier schedule changes, pandemic or force majeure.

We will track cargo status and share updates, but we are not liable for profit loss or extra costs caused by logistics delays.

8. Cargo Inspection, Damage & Loss

Buyers shall inspect goods immediately after cargo arrival.

For sea/air shipments: Claims for damage or shortage must be filed with the freight carrier on site upon receiving containers.

Risk of goods loss or damage transfers in accordance with agreed INCOTERMS.

9. Policy Update

We reserve the right to revise this Shipping Policy without prior notice. Updated content takes effect once published on the official website. All confirmed sales contracts shall prevail over website policy.
